Holiday Party - Fondue Time!

We just had our Annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Party and it was a big success. We got hooked on fondue when we lived in San Francisco (it was very popular there) so that's what we decided to serve it for the party. Since we don't have any fondue pots, we just used our crock pots - not as sexy but worked just fine. It was easy to make enough fondue for a lot of people and then we just had some of our guests bring some dipping items. They loved it because they didn't have to cook anything. We also just used skewers and deep plates for the food - very little clean up. You can be very imaginitive with this menu. We had three types of fondue - plain chocolate, peanut butter chocolate, and cheese. Our dipping items included donought holes, brownies, oreos, pineapple, strawberries, bananas, grapes, marshmallows, french bread, pretzels, brocolli, sausages, cauliflower, and some other random things people brought. You can even do things like cooked bacon - the sky is the limit! This party was just for adults - I would avoid this idea when kids are present because it can be very messy. Below is the recipe we used for the peanut butter chocolate - in my opinion it was the best.
Reese's Fondue
Ingredients:
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
13 ounces evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
1 cup chunky peanut butter
Directions:

Combine chocolate, milk, sugar, and peanut butter in crockpot. Cover; cook on high for 30 minutes, stirring well to mix.
